Suspects in Tolworth burglary still at large despite police search

A search is on to find the culprits of a burglary in Tolworth today.

Police were called to a property in Tolworth Rise North just before 1pm, following reports of a break in.

The suspects had left before officers arrived, and the Metropolitan Police helicopter was called to assist in the search.

It could be seen hovering over Green Lane recreation ground between New Malden and Berrylands.

The suspects have yet to be found.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "On Wednesday, April 30 at 12:58pm police were called to reports of a burglary in Tolworth Rise North.

"The suspects had made off before officers arrived.

"Met Police Air Support Unit was called to assist with an area search.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

Anyone with information should call police on 101.

This was my property that was broken into. The Degenerates got away with nothing. Unfortunately they are targetting asian families.

There were 4 well dressed white males driving a white Audi.
