A Kingston councillor says he has fallen victim to cyber hacking - after his Twitter account followed a number of dominatrix and mistress directories.

Canbury ward councillor Geoff Austin, who tweets as @geofftheref7, said he had been targeted by online mischief makers after a number of accounts offering sexual services were followed from his account.

The bio for one account, for a Mistress Domatella, read: “Experienced and genuine London mistress with my own dungeon and medical room.

“I am the key to unlocking your BDSM fantasies.”

When contacted by the Surrey Comet, Coun Austin, who has 66 followers on Twitter, replied: “Interesting.

“Looks like the person who hijacked my Twitter account last year is doing it again.”

Coun Austin’s account was hacked last year, which resulted in spam messages being sent to people who followed him.

Coun Austin said: “It was just over a year ago.

“It wasn't anything as simple as weight loss things - it was really nasty pornographic stuff that upset some of the people who received it, not to mention me.

“How and why do these idiots do this sort of thing?”

As of yesterday afternoon, @geofftheref7 had unfollowed the accounts.
