Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig - which Bond do you want to appear on the big screen at the Rose Theatre?

Films at the Rose will return this May bank holiday with a classic 007 adventure - but which one gets shown is up to the public.

The Rose has shortlisted six of the best Bond films of all time, from the Sean Connery days right up to the Daniel Craig era.

Now it is down to audiences to choose their favourite through an online public vote.

The winning film will be screened on bank holiday Monday, May 26.

Rose Theatre chief executive Robert O' Dowd said: “Film screenings are an exciting new venture here at the Rose and Bank Holiday Bond is even more exciting as it gives the audience the chance to decide which film they want to watch.

"I can see the voting causing arguments in houses across Kingston and Surrey as people put their case forward for their favourite Bond actor or favourite Bond decade.”

The shortlist is: Dr No; Goldfinger; The Spy Who Loved Me; License to Kill; Goldeneye; Skyfall.
