A serial thief who stole £3,000 worth of designer handbags from House of Fraser was given a community order and fined.
Roy Rabetts, of Maguire Drive, Richmond, took about £1,000 worth of DKNY handbags and designer purses from the department store in Richmond on three separate occasions - January 20, 22 and 28.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to three charges of theft from a shop and one of failing to attend a follow-up assessment after a test for the presence of class A dugs in Twickenham.
He was handed a supervision requirement and community order to have treatment for alcohol dependency for six-months when he appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 19.
He was also fined £5 for each offence, totalling £20, and ordered to pay £500 compensation.
