Pensioners got into the swing of Valentine’s Day with a tea dance in Surbiton on Friday.
Home care agency Carewatch Kingston hosted the event at Surbiton Library, playing a mixture of jazz and swing from the 1940s and 1950s.
The agency, based in Ewell Road, Surbiton, supports people with health conditions to continue living at home by providing practical and personal care.
The dance was held to encourage elderly residents to meet new people and make new friends.
Among those who attended was Mary Baker, founder of over 60s social website dropby.co.uk, who said: “It's just the sort of lovely idea and friendly event that Drop By finds adorable, especially on such a special occasion as Valentine's Day.”
