In 1969 I worked for a BMC main dealers in Epsom, sadly gone now, who had the job of preparing these Morris Minor panda cars for service, & then delivering them to a Metropolitan police base in Northolt, before they went to local stations. We even got pulled over once, there was a line of five of us, by the real Police, & asked what we were doing. Fortunately we had documents with us. Memories of days gone by.
