An award-nominated teenage singer-songwriter will be airing his latest material at a gig in Thames Ditton next week.

Nineteen-year-old Luke Jackson is known for his distinctive voice and unique interpretation of folk music.

He has previously toured with the likes of Show of Hands, Paul Brady, Chris Wood, Steve Knightley and Boo Hewerdine, who have all expressed admiration for the promising youngster.

His critically-acclaimed debut More Than Boys, released last year, has won him an army of admirers and helped him towards two prestigious award nominations – the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent and the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award.

His follow-up, Fumes and Faith, has also been well received and the audience at the Ram Folk Club can find out what all the fuss is about on Friday, February 14.
