A man arrested with cannabis and heroin took the unusual step of retweeting a story about himself before praising the hospitality of Kingston police’s new cells.

Liam Ditchfield, 23, of Langley Road, Surbiton, was charged with possession of cannabis and heroin as part of Operation Big Wing on Thursday, January 24.

The next day he took to Twitter under the name LiamDitchy to say: “Sadly I pleaded guilty, never had much choice and for the record Kingston police station was like the Hilton but free ;).
