Police have raided a boat in Kingston today as part of London-wide Operation Big Wing.

A drugs warrant was executed on a boat by the Kingston riverside with an arrest for posession.

Kingston officers arrested a man in New Malden today on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Officers also arrested a man in Arlington Road, Surbiton, on suspicion of drugs posession.

Three people were also arrested for domestic violence offences.

The results have been tweeted by Kingston police throughout the day.

Operation Big Wing has run since new Met Commander Bernard Hogan Howe arrived in 2011 , bringing together local police officers and specialist units for a day of high profile traffic checks, arrests and raids.

No prizes for guessing which boat has been raided. I noticed that the river gypsies were still hanging around.
