A Chessington man is due to appear in court this morning accused of robbing a woman at a cashpoint after threatening her with a knife.
David Mortimer, 24, of Newlands Way, Chessington will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.
He is facing charges of robbery and possession of knife at the Ace of Spades Shell garage in Hook Rise on Wednesday, January 15.
Mr Mortimer has also been charged with a similar knife point robbery in Claremont Road, Surbiton, on the same day.
Police said a second man, aged 29, had also been arrested in connection with the investigation and was in custody.
