I sincerely hope that this chap mkes a speedy and full recovery. Kingston Council needs to make sure that the flashing beacons at zebra crossings are working. Recently there was a period when the light wasn't working at this crossing. Is it working now I wonder. And drivers need to drive with care and attention. Not long ago June Sampson was hit on a zebra by Kingston Hospital.

Hawks Road is a 20 mph speed limit after all. Yesterday a driver passed me at 32 mph in a 20 mph limit according to the digital sign at the side of the road. It's time for the Comet to campaign for better and and safer driving standards. And high time that the police enforced the law.
