Police have reissued their appeal for a teenager missing since before the new year.

Cherise Barfoot, 15, was reported missing from her home in Durham on December 27, last year.

Police believe the teenager who has family links in Chessington and Bromley may be in London and particularly in the Haringey and Edmonton areas.

Cherise is described as a light-skinned black girl, with shoulder-length blonde hair, of slim build and about 5ft 2ins.

She was last seen wearing a black padded-jacket with a fur hood, grey tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers with a purple tick logo.

Police Constable Richard Teall, from Bromley's Missing Persons Unit said: "We'd appeal to anyone who thinks they may have seen Cherise or knows where she is to get in touch as soon as possible.

"Cherise, if you are reading this, then please get in touch with police, social services or the Coram Voice charity who'll be able to assist you and give you the advice you need.

“Your family are extremely concerned for you and we just want to make sure that you are safe and well."
