Actress and television presenter Nadia Sawalha will be in Kingston this weekend signing copies of her new cookery book.

The author, best known for her role as Annie Palmer in EastEnders and as one of the original panellists on ITV’s Loose Women, will be at WH Smith in the Bentall Centre on Saturday promoting Greedy Girl’s Diet: Second Helpings.

Her career as a celebrity cook took off after winning 2007's Celebrity Masterchef.

A follow up to her best-selling Greedy Girl's Diet, her new book features a range of healthy recipes, speedy suppers, quick fix suggestions and even a three-day detox plan to help food lovers enjoy their grub without piling on the calories.

The star will be on hand to sign copies of the new book, as well as discuss her own weight loss tips, from 2pm on Saturday, January, 11. The book is priced at £14.99.
