New Year's Day 'knife attack' suspect in court
A man was due to appear in court this morning accused of attacking another man with a large kitchen knife on New Year’s Day.
Darren Mayle, 33, of Aldersbrook Drive, Kingston, is charged with breaking into a house in nearby St Albans Road on January 1.
He is alleged to have entered the house and inflicted grievous bodily harm on Martin Brammelly.
Mr Mayle was due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court this morning.
