The future of two New Malden restaurants are in the balance after illegal workers were discovered working in them.
Councillors will decide the fates of Spicy Island, in Burlington Road, and Su La Korean, in Kingston Road, next week following police and Home Office raids in October and November, respectively.
Two people at Spicy Island, and four at Su La, were found not to be entitled to work in the UK.
Kingston police are pushing for the revocation of Spicy Island’s licence, according to council papers.
The decision will be made at a licensing sub-committee meeting on Tuesday.
