A driver who was floored by police officers while furiously screaming “I haven’t done anything” has admitted driving with no licence or insurance.

Leon Blake, 31, was screaming “What have I been arrested for? What have I been arrested for?” when he was arrested in Surbiton Crescent at about 8am on September 18.

About six police officers were involved in arresting him near the black Mercedes he was driving.

He shouted at passersby: “I haven’t done anything wrong".

At the time police said he was arrested for driving offences but was resisting arrest.

Blake initially denied the offences.

But he changed his plea to guilty at a hearing on December 23 at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.

A charge of possession of a small ball of cannabis, which he denied, was dropped.

Blake, of Effingham Road, Surbiton, will be sentenced on February 7 when magistrates will consider if there are special reasons for not disqualifying him.
