An Indian language school created a feel good spirit by celebrating Christmas last week, writes Charlotte Tobitt.
Kingston Gujarati School held a party featuring a visit from Father and Mother Christmas, carol singing, a bouncy castle and plenty of games for children at its Hollyfield School base in Surbiton last Friday evening. Christmas was mixed with Gujarati culture thanks to a cake sale which included traditional gujarati choices such as Dokla and Handvo.
A speech and a one minute silence also commemorated Nelson Mandela on the day.
