Woodstock Lane South has reopened after a car accident this morning.
The road was shut in the southbound direction after a black Renault Clio drove off the road and hit a tree at about 10.30am.
Surrey Police were called and drivers faced delays as recovery work to clear debris in the road was carried out from the A309 Kingston bypass at the Hook junction to Clayton Road.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: “We sent two ambulances to the scene. One patient was taken to hospital, a woman in her 30s.
“She suffered from potential head injuries, jaw pain and chest pain. She was taken as a priority to St Georges Hospital.”
The road reopened at about 12.30pm.
