A man caught with bolt cutters in Kingston town centre has been banned from riding a bicycle without proof of ownership as part of his bail conditions.

Burak Iscioglu, 28, denied intending to steal when he was arrested in Wood Street on March 10 by Kingston police.

But Iscioglu, of Ramsey Street, Bethnal Green, was found guilty of going equipped after a trial at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Friday.

He is due to be sentenced on December 20 at the same court.
