Shopper left battered and bruised after racial assault outside Chessington care home

A man on his way to the shops was left bruised and battered after being racially abused and assaulted by two men outside an old people's home in Chessington.
Kingston police are appealing for witnesses to contact them with information about the attack on Tuesday, July 16 outside the Amy Woodgate Centre in Nigel Fisher Way.
Police said both men verbally abused and assaulted the 44-year-old victim.
They repeatedly punched the victim to the head causing him severe swelling to his right eye socket, a cut to his cheek and bruising to the body.
Det Con Steve Parker from Kingston CID said: "This was an unprovoked attack racial attack on a man who was just walking to the shops.
"He did not know either of his attackers and having exhausted a number of lines of enquiry we are looking to members of the public to contact us to help identify the two suspects."
