Hampton & Richmond Borough’s hopes of reaching the first round proper of the FA Cup were dashed after a 3-1 defeat at Gloucester on Saturday.

Charlie Moone’s strike was not enough for the Beavers, who return to action in the Ryman Premier on Tuesday with the visit of Hendon to the Beveree.

Carshalton Athletic’s rejuvenation under Ian Hazel continued with a point from a 1-1 draw at home to Met Police – Ben Kudjodji equalising Charlie Collins’ opener.

Kingstonian, featuring two debutants in Bruce Hogg and Josh Casey, were on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline at Lowestoft.

In Ryman Division One South, Tooting & Mitcham were the big scorers banging six past Whistable Town at Imperial Fields.

Goals from Frankie Sawyer (two), Cecil Jee, May Noble, Jordan Cheadle and Sol Pinnock, on his return from injury, did the damage.

Leaders Walton Casuals were 3-2 winners at Ramsgate – Scott Day, Connor French and Jamal Okai keep Mark Hams’ side one point ahead of Hastings.

Walton & Hersham started life with departed manager Steve Baker with a 2-2 at home to Faversham Town.

After finding themselves 2-0 down at half-time, Chris Grayland and a Juan Onieva penalty hauled the Swans back.

Goals from Ian Draycott and Leroy Griffiths have lifted Leatherhead back into the play-off places thanks to a 2-1 win over Crawley Down Gatwick.

At the bottom of the table, Corinthian Casuals continue to struggle after a 3-2 defeat at home to Folkestone Invicta – goals from Juevan Spencer and Jamie Byatt were not enough.
