Four to appear in court over Cobham jeweller kidnapping
Three men and a woman are due to appear in court in connection with the kidnap of a jeweller and a break in at his Cobham store.
Mark Reid, who owns Gordon Marks, was kidnapped by masked men at about 9pm on Sunday, October 14 last year, at his home in Ockham.
He was driven to Cobham High Street about an hour later and forced to let thieves into the store but escaped and raised the alarm.
Damon Denham, 26, of Kingsbury Drive, Old Windsor, Stephen Evers, 42, of Burns Avenue, Feltham, Eugene Gunderman, 26, of Queens Close, Old Windsor and Danielle Church, 21, of The Gower, Egham, are each charged with conspiring to rob Mark Reid on October 14 and conspiring to kidnap a person on the same date.
They are due to appear at North Surrey Magistrates’ Court in Staines tomorrow (Wednesday, October 23).
