Old Bailey plea date set for man accused of killing Warsame Warsame
A man accused of killing Norbiton resident Warsame Warsame during a fight on a train has appeared at the Old Bailey.
Rhys Stacey Parchment, 24, of New Barns Avenue, Mitcham, was charged with manslaughter earlier this month following the death of Mr Warsame on March 4 this year.
Mr Warsame, 24, was found unconscious hours later on a different train travelling from Wimbledon to Raynes Park. He died in hospital two days later, despite emergency surgery.
Tests later revealed he died of an inoperable bleed on the brain.
Mr Stacey Parchment appeared at the Old Bailey today wearing the same grey suit he wore to a committal hearing at South Western Magistrates' Court on August 14.
A plea and case management hearing was fixed for Wednesday, November 13.
