Man hospitalised after A3 accident at Kingston Vale

A man has been taken to hospital after a road traffic accident along the A3 this morning.
The accident involved a Fiat Punto and an HGV tanker at the junction of the A3 and Kingston Vale at 11.52am today.
Police and London Ambulance were both called to the scene.
The driver of the Fiat, a man in his twenties, was taken to Kingston Hospital after complaining of back pain, a London Ambulance spokeswoman said.
The road remains open.
