Ever despaired at the lack of warm, comfortable seats at the bus stop?

Student Dan Jackson may have come up with the answer - this portable wooden seat, dubbed a bush seat, which clips easily onto a nearby fence.

The Kingston design student put the seat into action at a bus stop in Fairfield South - only for it to be removed three days later, he claimed by a Kingston Council jobsworth.

Friend Damian Harniess said: "Young Samaritans like Dan Jackson should be encouraged and Kingston should be proud it has such a budding young designer at its university."

Mr Jackson has also created a 'sock horn' to help pensioners put their socks on.
