Cold snap is back: below-zero temperatures for week ahead in London and Surrey
8:17am Monday 11th March 2013 in News By Omar Oakes
Last week's warm spell already seems a distant memory after temperatures plunged beneath zero again this morning.
Icy conditions are set to remain for the rest of the week, with the Met Office reporting spells of light snow until Wednesday.
In south-west London, the temperature is forecast to stay below -1C, with an overnight low on Tuesday morning of -2C.
Wednesday will see scattered snow showers and sunny spells, while Thursday will be mainly dry and bright, with light winds.
Frost will continue each night until Friday, then becoming less cold and windy with outbreaks of rain.
