Ambulance called after car overturns in New Malden

Ambulance and fire crews were called to Coombe Lane West, New Malden, early this morning after a car came off the road and overturned.

The car overturned in woodland near the northbound A3, white watch firefighters from New Malden said.

The ambulance service was called just after 7am. The driver, a man in his 50s, was not trapped in the car.

A London Ambulance spokeswoman said it sent one ambulance crew who treated the driver.

He had no obvious injuries but was confused and agitated, she said. He was taken to Kingston Hospital as a precaution.

I hope that the driver isn't badly injured. Beginning to wonder why there have been so many crashes recently: The Porsche in Emma's Nails, the Astra overtunred at Queen Elizabeth Road by Tiffin's, the crash at the fatality site on Park Road by Kelvedon Close. Seems people need to slow down and not be in such a tearing hurry.

I was driving along Coombe Road just the other day by the road works at the junction of Warren Road ( where the private road barrier is) when stopped the red light, at said road works, a male driver in a 4x4 black Mercedes overtook all the waiting traffic and continued towards Kingston hospital. When we finally moved off we saw the Mercedes reversing into one of the houses on the left as we proceeded toward K Hospital. We challenged the driver as to his actions. His answer. "So what".
This says it all they don't care.
So if you see an Asian gentleman driving a Mercedes 4x4 steer well clear of him.
