Burglary investigators raided a house but found no evidence and made no arrests on Monday evening.

Officers from Surrey police came to Sutton to raid a house in Mulgrave Road in connection with a burglary in Walton-on-Thames.

But the raid, at 3.30pm, uncovered no evidence and nobody was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.

Come on Comet reporters! Where is the news in this story? What next? Traffic unit patrols A3 but finds nobody speeding. Unlikely but almost as newsworthy.
