Buses diverted from Kingston town centre after sewer collapses
Eden Street has closed following a collapsed sewer today.
Bus routes on the busy Kingston road have been diverted, with stops moved to Wheatfield Way.
The road has been closed between Lady Booth Road and Nationwide Building Society.
Thames Water will be repairing the sewer near the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Nationwide bank.
Oliver Richards from Heals said: “One half of the road is cordoned off with the usual kind of big grey barriers with those orange signs, but there are still people on the road.”
