Former EastEnder and Esher resident Martine McCutcheon has been declared bankrupt.
McCutcheon, 37, petitioned for bankruptcy at Kingston County Court under the name Martine Kimberley Sherri Ponting, according to Credit Today.
Her discharge from bankruptcy is set for January 2, 2014, and KPMG has been appointed as her trustee.
McCutcheon is best known for her role as Tiffany on EastEnders during the 1990s. Following her stint in the BBC soap, the actress had a successful career as a singer.

I read in another article that she is in the middle of writing another book and has got much more work in the pipeline - the income from which will now not go to paying off her tax liability.
The problem is that there are thousands of people getting away with this each year, but we only hear about the chavvy 'celeb' cases.
