Surbiton man charged after cocaine raid
A man from Surbiton has been charged with supplying cocaine following a police raid.
David Walton, 43, of Kingswood Close, was one of eight people arrested on Thursday, when more than 21 kilos of cocaine were recovered during a double swoop by Surrey Police.
Officers entered a business address in Egham while simultaneously searching a house in Wraysbury Road in Staines.
They recovered 21 kilos of cocaine from the home in Staines, and a small amount of the drug from Egham.
Gun ammo was also found at the Staines property.
Seven of those arrested, including Mr Walton, were charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug and appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Saturday.
They were remanded in custody until Thursday, February 28.
Mr Walton was also charged with money laundering.
An eighth person, a 60-year-old woman from Staines-upon-Thames, was released on bail until March.
