Flaming Mercedes
A car has caught fire at the junction of the A217 and M25.
Firefighters were called to tackle the blazing black Mercedes at 8.49am, with fire engines sent from Epsom and Reigate.
Driver Ben Reus, who was held up because of the fire, said the traffic was being severely disrupted with queues going back to the motorway.
He said: "There was at least six feet of flames.
"It’s obviously been burning for a while. There’s no recovering the car."
