The headteacher of Tiffin School has shown her support for missing sixth former Conor O’Donoghue, who has been missing for almost a month.

Conor, 17, from Richmond, went missing early on December 8 after he had spent the night out with friends in Camden.

He was last seen by a friend on Kew Bridge at 3am.

Just before Christmas, police dredged the Thames by Kew Bridge but found nothing.

Hilda Clarke, headteacher of Tiffin School where Connor is a pupil, said the school is doing everything it can to support the family and find the teenager.

She said: “Our thoughts and prayers are very much with his family. We have done a lot to write and keep in contact with the family at this very very deeply sensitive time and sense of great loss.

"We are just trying to do anything we can do to support and help.”

Tomorrow, January 8, will be exactly on month since he went missing.

Miss Clarke said the students in the sixth form had been very good in helping police when Connor first went missing and were continuing their support in the search.

She said: “The older students in the school are trying to do as much as possible to support his family and give information to the police authorities.

"We have been talking with his friends in the sixth form who are doing as much as they can to get information.”

Members of staff at the school have also been showing their support in the search for the teenager, who is white, about 5ft 10in with shoulder-length dark brown hair.

Miss Clarke said: “My colleagues have been doing a lot to support and help – especially with the students in year 13. Our thoughts are completely with the family.”

Connor went missing after a night out with friends in Camden and his family are concerned for his safety as this is out of character for him.

He was last seen wearing a red jacket with a grey hooded top underneath, skinny black jeans and boots. Anyone with information about Connor should call police on 101.
