A former Take Me Out contestant will be busking in the streets of Kingston as part of a talent competition.
Jim Fox, better known at Beatfox, of Clifford Avenue in East Sheen came on to our screens this month during the hit ITV dating show, Take Me Out.
He will now be showcasing his beatboxing skills live during Kingston Spotlight on Thursday and the weekend.
The 23-year-old who studied music technology at Kingston College is currently ranked as second in the UK for beatboxing.
Speaking about his successful stint on Take Me Out the cheeky chap said: "They called me on to the show and I though why not. I only just got a date. I am still single though.
"I do get a lot of girls leaving their numbers for me while I am doing my thing.
"Last weekend in Kingston I got a number. I even got a guy shouting 'take me out'. I have had to say ‘I don’t want to’ to guys in the past."
Mr Fox also said he looked forward to performing in Kingston again this week and was hopeful about finding love in the borough.
He said: "It might just happen. Who knows. You never know."
The beatboxer can be seen performing live on Saturday at 5pm outside Kingston Station.
Last week’s Kingston Spotlight was won by teenage crooner James McDonough.
This week sees a record number of 16 acts competing against each other.
Ros Morgan, chief executive of Kingstonfirst, said: "The interest that the Kingston Spotlight competition is generation is exceeding all of our expectations.
"Having such a range of entertainment throughout the town centre is proving popular with shoppers, while it is also a hit with the performers themselves."
Shoppers and residents are urged to get behind their favourite acts by voting for them to become the Brightest Spotlight of the Week.
To support your favourite act, text 60777 at your standard network charge with the code of the act you like the most until midnight on Monday when voting ends.
Alternatively email your votes to the Surrey Comet at newsdesk@surreycomet.co.uk.
Winners will be announced next week.
