Yesterday I popped out on my own to meet a friend for a sparkling water, and they asked to see a picture of my little ones.

He had to admit they were adorable, and I’d have to agree. I’m in no way biased, it’s just a fact!

Now Michael and I from day one made a decision not to post any pictures of our children on social media, much to the annoyance of some friends and family, but it just means they have to make an effort to come and see us. Like in the olden days before all this technology.

So this week, it has finally sunk in that I’m a mother of two, especially now that my baby daughter has developed her personality and is completely aware of everything going on around her.

She’s rolling around, propping herself up and smiling constantly.

It’s the cutest thing seeing her play with her older brother.

She’ll sit on my lap and watch him muck about and sing to himself and then start laughing uncontrollably.

It’s so infectious that Michael and I can’t help laughing along too.

There are now four entertainers in the Underwood household. Uh oh!

My son calls his baby sister “bear” and that has stuck as her nickname.

She always tries to grab him to get his attention and he will often, without any warning, go over and give her a kiss and cuddle.

These are the moments that truly make your heart melt and will be imprinted in your memory for a lifetime.

As I write this, my son is trying to grab my hand so we can get on and start our painting session, so this is where I sign off to resume motherhood duties.
