More than a dozen cyclists took on the RideLondon challenge - and weather described as "biblical" and "horrendous" by Olympian Chris Hoy - to support Love Kingston.
Together they raised hundreds for the campaign, which supports the Oxygen, Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness, Kingston Food Bank, Hestia, and Kingston Savers groups.
Wendy Mauchline, 44, said: "The weather was atrocious and I was tempted to go home when I was yards from my house in torrential rain.
"I was quite pleased with my time, and although it was a horrid start, the rest of the ride was very enjoyable.
"The support in Kingston was just incredible."
Guy Saville, 51, from Durban in South Africa, said: "I enjoyed the event very much. My legs have been incredibly sore which means I pushed hard - always a good sign. It wasn’t easy".
Love Kingston fundraising manager Elaine Miller said: "Everyone who took part should feel incredibly proud of their achievement, especially under such challenging conditions.
"Every penny raised goes to help some of the most vulnerable living in our community."
