Epsom & Ewell West neighbourhood policing team

Eddie Adderley

In 2002 I joined Surrey Police as a Special Constable covering Epsom Town to see if policing was for me, it took no time at all to discover it was and I joined up full time in 2003. I started my career as a uniformed crime investigator in CID at Reigate and after two years became a response officer covering Epsom and the rest of East Surrey. Seven years in this role allowed me to really learn the area, become a higher grade driver, tutor constable and provided acting sergeant opportunities. On becoming a substantive Sergeant I was posted on promotion to Custody at Reigate, Salfords and latterly Guildford.

I am passionate about my job, keen to do the right thing, bringing people to justice, and making the area a better place for everyone to live and work in. I am therefore very happy to have joined the Neighborhood Team in Epsom looking after the North and North West of the Borough, and look forward to supporting my PCSO and PC colleagues doing ‘real Police work’.

Elena Boafo

I joined Surrey Police as a PCSO in 2004 and started as a PC in 2005. I have always worked in Epsom and know it very well. Before I joined the Epsom South I was the Neighbourhood Specialist officer for North West Epsom for 6 years. In one year I relentlessly pursued criminals with the help of the North West community and I obtained a Sexual Offences Prevention Order on a 79year old man, two evictions due to antisocial behaviour and an Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) on a male who has served three separate sentences in 2013 for breaching it. This meant the community could have the peace and safety that they were entitled to. I also speak Spanish which can sometimes be useful. I work a shift pattern which includes night shifts in order to keep you and the people of Epsom & Ewell safe from harm. I am committed to tackling the issues on Epsom South and happy to discuss your concerns. Please call my mobile on 07967 986752 for a chat but always call 999 or 101 if you require police attendance or to report a crime.
