A classic fairy tale ballet is set to pirouette its way into Epsom next month.
The Hans Christian Andersen classic, The Snow Queen, will be performed by Ballet Theatre UK's renowned company at the Epsom Playhouse on December 9.
The wintry tale follows Gerda as she journeys across the frozen north in search of her friend Kay, who the wicked Snow Queen has placed under a spell. Gerda's journey, set to a magical score, will eventually take her to the Snow Queen's Palace of Ice, where only her love for Kay can break the Snow Queen's spell and end her curse of endless winter. Tickets to The Snow Queen at Epsom Playhouse on December 9, are available through the Playhouse Box Office on 01372 742555 or online at epsomplayhouse.co.uk.
