Opera and orchestra coming to Thames Ditton theatre

A theatre in Thames Ditton will host opera and orchestra at the end of the month.

The first concert on October 21 will see Bizet’s Spanish masterpiece "Carmen" performed in English.

The Commedia Productions performance will feature opera singers from major national opera companies, who will tell the story of a gypsy girl Carmen and her tragic end.

The following Friday, October 28, will host the London Mozart trio, who will play a selection of pieces by Brahms, Shostakovich and Schubert.

The trio consists of world class musicians, including Colin Stone, who has performed around the world and has played on BBC3.
