World-leading violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy will be joined by the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra when his tour kicks off in Croydon next month.

The tour of 'The New Four Seasons' and Kennedy's own 'Dedication' will be hitting Croydon's Fairfield Halls on April 15 where he will take to the stage and perform a reinterpretation of his best-selling album 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi.

The new album embraces new developments in music technology, styles and instruments.

Kennedy originally recorded the album in 1989 and it went on to sell over two million copies, making history to become one of the best-selling classical albums of all time.

The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra has worked with Kennedy on many occasions, collaborating in a variety of music styles.

On working with the orchestra again, Kennedy said: "I always love playing with this fantastic Orchestra. It's made up with such passionate musicians."
