Singers, dancers and comedians will join forces for a pair of shows in Croydon on Mother’s Day weekend.

In Celebration of My Sisters 2016 at Fairfield Halls will see the UK’s largest line-up of performances paying homage to International Women’s Month and Mother’s Day.

Hosted by BBC journalist Brenda Emmanus and fellow broadcasters Delia Dolor and Paulette Harris-German, the shows feature MOBO winner Yolanda Brown, X Factor contestant Jennifer Phillips, The Voice’s Donna Marie and the London Community Gospel Choir over two nights.

Award-winning US author Terry McMillan will present music from her films and books while there will also be tributes to Dr Maya Angelou, Deborah Glasgow, Louisa Marks, Jean Adebambo and Nelson Mandela.
