A music school specialising in flute and vocal tuition is holding its first ever Christmas concert.
The Surrey Sound of Music was established this year by Rachel Hedger and Emma Butcher who taught for numerous years and decided to combine their expertise.
After the success of their summer concert they decided to do a Christmas concert giving the students a chance to show off their talent.
During the two-hour show each student will perform a solo and everyone will participate in two group pieces - fusing vocals and flute together.
The music school provides vocal and flute tuition and aims to provide regular performance opportunities for children to develop their confidence, creativity and expression in music.
Surrey Sound of Music Christmas Concert; St Andrew's United Reformed Church, Northey Avenue, Cheam; December 8, doors open 6.30pm show starts at 7pm, £6; visit thesurreysoundofmusic.co.uk.
