X Factor winner Joe McElderry performed at the BRIT School yesterday (Monday) in front of a crowd of adoring fans.
He was there supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust which the BRIT School have named as their chosen charity.
As part of the charity’s education programme, they delivered annual talks to Year 10s at the Croydon’s free performing arts school.
A former BRIT student, Rosanna Connelly, is now also a Teenage Cancer Trust Ambassador after being diagnosed with leukaemia while studying music.
The BRIT School Principal, Stuart Worden, talked about the history of The BRIT School working with Teenage Cancer Trust before introducing Joe McElderry to the stage.
He performed a live acoustic set with Matt Billip who is an ex-BRIT student and the X Factor winner’s drummer.
