King George III and Queen Charlotte will be brought back to life at Kew Palace for a weekend festival.
Families are cordially invited to become courtiers for the day as the Georgian court and its cast of royals roam around the historic palace.
The palace, set inside Kew Gardens, will be turned inside out for the weekend, with a royal study, dining room and powder room placed into the palace grounds for visitors to explore.
The Glorious Georges Family Festival is part of a new learning and engagement programme at the royal palaces, and is designed with families in mind.
Visitors to the palace can time travel back to the Georgian era and step inside the world of the monarchs by discovering their fashions, family games they enjoyed and have lunch with the King.
Before dining with the royals, families will learn how to become the perfect courtier with the Masters of Etiquette in the powder room.
In the dining room, guests will be able to decorate a tablecloth fit for a king and then test their artistic talents in an art workshop.
For those who have fancied themselves as a public speaker, a pop-up Parliament will allow you to discuss the important issues of the Georgian age.
