Chimichanga is the latest restaurant to open in the expanding Wandsworth Southside shopping centre.
The Mexican promises a fiesta every day so I thought I would pay a visit and join in the party.
It really helps brighten up the front of the shopping centre, with vibrant colours running through the whole of the restaurant.
We manage to bag a table in the upstairs terrace to take advantage of what is perhaps the last mild evening of the year.
Margaritas are the signature cocktails, laced with generous tipples of tequila.
I opted for a golden coin margarita which is served short and made up of Cuervo Gold tequila, Cointreau, sweet and sour mix with lime.
Chimichanga is all about sharing and feeling at home, so my guest and I tuck into the veggie sampler.
The Tex Mex mushroom and jalapeño quesadillas and black bean spring rolls are really moreish, with just the amount of spice I could handle.
A range of fajitas, tortillas and wraps are on offer as mains, as well as chargrilled meats, fish and salads.
I fancy something a bit different so order the sea bass served in a tantalising lime sauce with roasted veg, presented sizzling in a skillet.
We wash it down with a bottle of the house white, priced at £13.95.
