WHO better to send on a saucy, laser-lit night out in the West End than Petts Wood’s own dancing dream team of News Shopper reporters?

Unable to throw their shapes around in their fave quiet watering holes near Megahouse’s base, the glittering lights of Leicester Square’s nightclub Rise Superclub exposed some never-before-seen moves.

The club’s glamorous staff looked after our motley crew as well as if we were part of X Factor star Alexandra Burke’s entourage – who had celebrated her birthday at the venue earlier that week.

A sparkler-topped bottle of vodka was danced to our VIP table by a smartly-dressed waiter and set the tone for a dazzling evening.

The fun continued until closing time with the team dancing the night away – and the unclassy moment when one team member vomited in the VIP area shall be tactfully glossed over.

This unsavoury act – but also all the exceptional moves accompanying the R&B and hip hop-heavy tunes – was thanks to the enthusiastic reporter soaking up the lively atmosphere, flashing lights and four-Jaeger-Bombs-for-a-pound being served on the dance floor.

An excellent night was had by all with enjoyment only minorly marred by the heavy male to female ratio and a few shady characters in the club it was best to avoid eye contact with.
