A sitcom billing itself as a ‘modernised Dad’s Army’ and a cross between Friends and Band of Brothers is looking for actors as it prepares to film in Croydon.

Credenhill is an action-comedy series being created for ‘a major national British TV channel’ by production companies Vesio Productions and New World.

It follows six SAS soldiers, their personal lives and partners.

A pilot is due to be shot in Croydon on August 6 and 7 and as many as 40 actors and actresses are required for supporting roles and extras.

Reading Comedy Festival’s former New Act of the Year Mass Nokhas is among the show’s stars, alongside Adam Oakley (Brotherhood).
