1:55pm Wednesday 17th August 2011 in Exhibitions By Clare Buchanan
Painting, mixed media and printmaking are being presented in a joint exhibition by three artists.
The Fountain Gallery presents the work of Carol Grant, Claudia Stendel and Carol Morgan in the show, entitled Random.
The range of work includes the use of varying colour, texture and styles, influenced by nature and everyday objects, in both realistic and abstract forms.
Carol Grant’s prints and textured paintings explore the diversity of the English landscape and seascape while Claudia Stendel’s mix of subjects lends itself to her quirky approach with mixed media.
Carol Morgan’s work explores vibrant colour using flowers and objects as inspiration.
The mix of paintings and prints contrast in their mood and atmosphere, which earns the collection its name.
The exhibition will run at the Fountain Gallery, in Bridge Road, Hampton Court, from August 30 to September 11.
The gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11.30am to 5.50pm.
