A residential home in Purley is hosting a walk in gallery showcasing resident's artwork.
The exhibition at Sunrise Senior Living of Purley, is being run in conjunction with Alzheimer's Society between September 21 and 28.
The gallery will exhibit art created by residents, some of whom suffer from Alzheimers and dementia.
Resident Sheila Tipper, entered work for the exhibition. The 86-year-old said: "I only started painting a few years ago, but now I really enjoy messing around with colours. I loved being involved with Art of Sunrise."
Sandy King, Activities & Volunteer Coordinator at Sunrise of Purley, said the display was a fitting tribute to Claude, 95, a resident of Sunrise of Purley, who passed away before having the chance to see his painting displayed.
She said: "He had worked in art throughout his life and thoroughly enjoyed his art classes whilst he was with us at the community.
"The quality of all of the work was inspiring and it was lovely to see the artwork properly displayed for everyone to appreciate."
