A popular comedian is returning to Croydon - and is bringing some friends along for his new show.

Quincy, considered one of the top comedians on the circuit, brings his Comedy Lounge to Fairfield Halls this month.

His show, The South London Experience Part II, follows on from the success of part one in the series.

The comedian, who started out as a DJ, ran a comedy show when he first got into stand-up and went from performing in a small wine bar in East London to sold-out theatre shows In Quincy’s Comedy Lounge, the main man treats the audience with a lot of his own material before inviting a host of other acts on stage.

Thanyia Moore is one of the guests. Quincy says Moore has always had a real love for comedy and presents with real zest and feeling.

Another act on the show is comedian Kane Brown whose honest, energetic and fast-paced comedy looks set to go down well with the audience. Quincy says Kane always adds a comedy element to anything he does which makes him a charming a all rounder.

Lastly there is Axel The Entertainer who is considered by Quincy as one of the young rising star of the UK comedy scene.

He is becoming known for his energetic and insightful comedy shows.

Quincy says he is looking forward to bringing the show to Croydon and is excited to expand the show into south London.

He says: "I try to get a variety of comedians to come in and do the show. I try and fuse different styles together so the audience get a real all round experience.

"It is important to hear comics come from a different angle. I have always said that comedy doesn’t see colour, if it is funny it is funny regardless of who it is coming from.

"I don’t want people to come to my shows thinking they are not included, that isn’t what comedy is about. I am sure the people coming to Fairfield Halls will have a good time."

Quincy’s Comedy Lounge, Fairfield Halls, August 16, 8.30pm, £12 to £15, call 020 8688 9291 or visit Fairfield.co.uk.
